The Convergence of information and communication technologies has thrown open the possibility of using multimedia technologies to create Education content in electronic format use in university teaching and learning programmes. The Consortium for Educational Communication (CEC) an apex body of the UGC has been entrusted with the responsibility of training university/college teachers in various aspects of e-content development and coordinating the e-content development will be made available on the CEC/UGC website for free access
